I'm Jan. Welcome to my little public garden on the web.
This used to be my blog, which should tell you a little something about how long I've been online.
Now it's something new, something more organic. It's a place where I can write things longer than a Facebook post or an Instagram pic, without inviting your commentary. (If I want commentary, I will link an essay or story on social media.) I can let things grow here, or let them fade away, as time will reckon. Let's be honest, neither of us plans to be here everyday, but some thoughts need to float above the social media noise and linger with us a bit longer.
I will plant some things, and weed others. For now, here are some collections.
